Dense fog rolls into Eastern MA Tuesday night

Conditions are ripe for locally dense fog in coastal Eastern Massachusetts Monday night. A storm offshore, light onshore winds, and muggy air in place will combine to lead to fog formation that could lower visibility to a quarter-mile or less overnight. The National Weather Service in Taunton, MA has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 9 am Wednesday for coastal Plymouth County, Cape Cod and the islands.
