Event Forecast: Portugal vs. Brazil at Gillette Stadium

A friendly match between two of the world’s soccer superpowers, Portugal and Brazil, will take place at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 8:30 pm. The match will feature many of the star players for both countries. Unfortunately, the biggest star of all, Cristiano Ronaldo, will miss the friendly with tendonitis. The stadium will near or at capacity, with more than 55,000 tickets sold as of last week.

Weather-wise, it looks like a decent night for the fans and players. Tuesday will be a transition day as unseasonably warm and muggy weather heads for Southern New England. It will mostly cloudy and muggy, with scattered late-day showers possible. Showers should be out of the picture by the time the match starts.
