National Weather Services issues Winter Weather Advisory

A weak storm system will bring snow, sleet and freezing rain to Southern New England Sunday night into Monday. Although widespread snow totals over 2″ are not expected, a combined inch or so of snow and a trace of ice could lead to slick travel late at night and during the Monday morning commute. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Southern New England, except for Eastern MA and Southeast RI. The Advisory is in effect until 1 PM Monday in RI and interior SE MA.
