Slight Chance of a T-Storm on Thursday

THURSDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE

Showers and thunderstorms have been confined to interior New England and will very likely stay away from Southeastern New England this afternoon and early evening.

FROM EARLIER

The comfortably cool sleeping weather will continue Wednesday night as the temperature falls into the mid to upper 50s in the countryside under clear skies. It will be a bit milder, but by no means warm, in the cities. Thursday should start with mostly sunny skies. An approaching disturbance will set off showers and thunderstorms is western New England by early in the afternoon.

The middle of next week looks drier and possibly warmer. Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80s.
