The sun will finally return to Southern New England on Saturday. It will be a partly to mostly sunny and pleasantly mild day. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s with a 5-10 mph west-southwest breeze developing in the afternoon. A cold front will move through Saturday night. There is a slight chance of a quick, passing shower. Lows will be in the mid 40s.

Sunday looks partly to mostly cloudy, blustery, and cooler. Highs will be in the mid 50s with a 15-30 mph west-northwest breeze. The wind will relax Sunday night, and the temperature will fall into the low to mid 40s under mainly clear skies.

Nice weather is in the forecast for most of next workweek. Monday will be mostly sunny with highs near 60. It will be partly sunny and a bit milder on Tuesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s Tuesday, with the best chance of reaching 65° away from the coast. An onshore breeze will cool the coast on Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s inland, and low 60s near the coast. Scattered showers are possible late in the day or at night as a cold front moves through New England.

Fair weather is likely on Thursday. Highs will be in the low 60s. The early outlook for Halloween is for a slight chance of showers and cooler weather arriving during the evening. The temperature may fall through the 50s into the 40s if a cold front passes in the afternoon.
