Chilly and Drier Thanksgiving

The big storm will be gone by Thanksgiving morning, but there may be a few icy spots on the roads, especially inland, as the temperature dips into the upper 20s to low 30s by dawn on Thursday. It will be a partly to mostly cloudy day with highs only in the mid to upper 30s.

A disturbance moving through Eastern New England may bring a round of snow showers or light snow Thursday night into early Friday morning Eastern Massachusetts. A coating is possible. It will be mostly cloudy, with lows in the low to mid 20s.

Skies will become mostly sunny on Friday, and highs will be in the mid 30s with a northwest breeze that keeps the wind chill in the 20s. Friday night looks cold, with lows ranging from the mid teens inland to the low 20s near the coast. Saturday will be another bright, cool, and dry day, with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

The wind will shift to the southwest on Sunday, and the temperature will reach the upper 40s to low 50s with a blend of clouds and sun. It should stay relatively mild on Monday before a cold front brings another cool shot in the middle of next week. Highs will be in the 50s on Monday, and closer to 40 on Tuesday.

Happy Thanksgiving!
