Wednesday will begin with dry and pleasant weather in Southern New England. The temperature will climb out of the 40s in the early morning reaching the low 60s by noon. It will be mainly clear early in the day. Clouds will develop in the afternoon. Showers will develop over the Northeastern US and move east in the afternoon and evening. There is a decent chance of showers between late in the afternoon and midnight.

Cooler weather will arrive on Thursday. It will stick around for a while. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s on Thursday. Early sunshine is possible before clouds develop during the day. There will be a 10-20 mph northwest breeze. Friday looks similar, with lows in the 30s to low 40s, and highs in the low to mid 50s.

The weekend is shaping up to be dry and relatively cool. Highs will be in the mid 50s, and lows will be near 40. Both days will be partly sunny. Looking ahead to next week, rain is possible late Monday into Tuesday. There is no big warm-up in the forecast for the next week to ten days.
