Dry and Cool Through the Weekend

Friday was another very cool day in Southeastern New England. Highs were only in the low 50s with a blend of clouds and sun. It will be quite cool early Saturday, with lows in the low to mid 30s under mainly clear skies. Saturday afternoon will be on the cool side, but not as cold as the past couple of days. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Skies will be partly sunny. There is a slight chance of a brief passing shower in the afternoon or early evening. There will be a 10-20 mph northwest breeze.

Clouds will melt away Saturday night. Lows will be in the 30s again Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon will be dry and seasonably cool, with highs in the mid to upper 50s under partly to mostly sunny skies.

A disturbance moving through early next week will bring more cool and unsettled weather. Highs will only be in the low to mid 50s on Monday and Tuesday. There will be mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers both days. It looks like a better chance of rain on Monday than Tuesday.

The middle of next week looks warmer and dry. Highs will reach the 60s on Wednesday. Skies will be mostly sunny. Thursday looks decent, provided a storm stays south of the area. Right now, we’re expecting a blend of clouds and sun, and highs in the 60s.
