Weekend Forecast and Thanksgiving Outlook

The weekend begins with dry and seasonable conditions in Southern New England. The end of the weekend forecast is tricky as a storm develops offshore, and it will most likely come close enough to clip Southeastern New England with rain and wind.

SATURDAY
Partly cloudy, a northeast breeze. Seasonable. Highs in the low 50s.

SATURDAY NIGHT
Increasing clouds, chance of a rain shower late at night. Lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

SUNDAY
Scattered showers possible in the morning. A better chance of rain developing during the afternoon, especially in Southeastern Massachusetts. A gusty northeast breeze. Highs in the low 50s at midday, with the temperature falling through the 40s when rain arrives in the afternoon.

SUNDAY NIGHT
Rain likely in the evening. Raw and breezy, with steadiest rain on Cape Cod and the islands. A few snowflakes may mix in before it ends early Monday. Temperature falls into the low to mid 30s.

MONDAY
Most likely dry, but cool. Highs in the low 40s with clouds clearing out. Northerly wind 10-20 mph. It will be clear and cold Monday night.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
Expect fair weather with highs in the mid to upper 40s. It will stay cold at night, with lows in the 20s to low 30s.

THANKSGIVING
We are expecting nice weather on Thanksgiving day. Lows will be in the 30s early in the day. Sunshine should get the temperature into the low 50s during the afternoon. If there’s enough sun, the temperature may reach the mid 50s.

FRIDAY
The weather looks good for Black Friday shoppers. The temperature will be in the upper 30s to low 40s Thursday night, and it will reach the mid to upper 50s on Friday with partly sunny skies.
