Mild Midweek; Watching Late-Week Storm

Snow will steadily melt during this week as temperatures stay warmer than normal through the workweek. We are watching an ocean storm late in the workweek.

TUESDAY
Look for partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild conditions. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s with a 10-25 mph southwest breeze. A few rain showers are possible Tuesday night.

WEDNESDAY
An early rain shower is possible, then it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low 40s. Skies will clear and it will turn colder Wednesday night. Lows will be in the mid 20s.

THURSDAY
We’ll have partly sunny skies with highs near 40.

FRIDAY
An ocean storm will likely stay far enough away from New England to spare the area any snow. It’s a relatively close call, and still early in the week, so we’ll continue to watch it closely. You can expect mostly cloudy skies and highs near 40 as a second system approaches from the west.

WEEKEND
More mild weather is ahead for the end of January. Highs will be near 40 on Saturday, and in the 40s on Sunday. Passing rain/snow showers are possible Saturday night. Both days look partly cloudy.
