August 24th Update

Look for a blend of clouds and sunshine on Thursday. It will be seasonably warm and a bit muggy with highs in the low to mid 80s. The southwest wind should be between 10-20 mph – stronger than it was on Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday night and Friday, primarily in the morning. It will be very humid on Friday, but turn drier over the weekend.

The last weekend of August should be quite nice. Sunday will be in the mid to upper 80s with mostly sunny skies. You can expect more morning sunshine followed by some late clouds on Sunday. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Tropical Storm Gaston is heading into a harsh environment in the Atlantic Ocean. It looks like a non-factor for a while. The disturbance in the Caribbean has a 60-80% chance of becoming Tropical Storm Hermine as it heads for the Bahamas and South Florida this weekend.
