Event Forecast: Jamestown Half Marathon

The annual Jamestown 1/2 Marathon is Saturday, September 24, 2016. The picturesque race begins at 7 am, and, this year, there is an Officer Ryan Bourque Memorial 5k beginning at 7:15 am.

A cold front will move through Rhode Island Friday evening, and a few showers will trail the front until early Saturday morning. While there may be a bit of rain before the races, the odds of rain diminish very quickly as the morning progresses. There will be a gusty north-northeast wind that will serve as a tailwind for the second half of the race. Humidity will be low, and the temperature should be plenty comfortable for anyone who trained all summer for the race!
