October 11th Update

A mostly dry, quiet, and seasonable weather pattern continues in Southeastern New England. It will not be as chilly Tuesday night as it was Monday night. Lows will be in the upper 30s to mid 40s under mainly clear skies. Sunshine will give way to some clouds on Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s with a light southeasterly breeze.

A few showers are possible on Thursday, but it certainly does not look like a washout. Expect mostly cloudy skies for most of the day. It will be milder, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. The best chance of passing showers is in the afternoon and evening.

More dry weather is ahead for Friday through the weekend. It will be seasonably cool, with highs in the low 60s on Friday under a blend of clouds and sun. There will be a nip in the air Saturday morning as the temperature dips into the upper 30s to mid 40s again. Expect sunshine and a cool northeasterly breeze on Saturday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Clouds increase on Sunday ahead of a system that will bring scattered showers Sunday night and Monday. It certainly does not look like a widespread heavy rain storm. Highs will be in the 60s on Sunday.

Folks in Bermuda are bracing for a near direct hit from rejuvenated Hurricane Nicole. The storm that played second fiddle to Matthew is turning north and then northeast towards Bermuda. It may not pass directly over the island, but will likely come close enough to do damage as a strong Category 2 hurricane Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
