May 19th Update

It will get warmer and muggy on Sunday. A late-day shower or t-storm is possible as a cold front passes by. Most of the upcoming workweek looks dry, with the exception of Tuesday when showers are possible. It probably will not be a total washout.

The rest of the workweek looks dry and mostly on the warm side. Expect temps in the 70s to low 80s during the day, and in the 50s to low 60s at night. It may get a bit muggy by Friday. A back-door cold front may cool the weather into the 60s or low 70s on Saturday as it stays dry.

The weather pattern looks wet along the Eastern Seaboard late in the Memorial Day weekend

The overall pattern favors some rain by the end of the Memorial Day weekend. Showers are possible both Saturday and Sunday as deep tropical moisture rides up the Eastern Seaboard. It will likely be warm and muggy both Sunday and Monday, with scattered showers. That unsettled stretch of weather may be followed by another dry streak that lasts into early June. In total, precipitation looks at or below normal in the next two weeks.

The next 10 days look relatively warm in the Northeast
