The majority of the damage in Rhode Island occurred in South County from Narragansett to Westerly where beaches washed inland during the Monday evening high tide. The Coast Guard House Restaurant in Narragansett is a total loss after suffering heavy damage. The owners have vowed to rebuild as soon as possible.
