While it was cloudy and cool in Southeastern New England, it was sunny and “white” in Northern New England Thursday morning. Many ski reports had snowmaking guns blazing with the air temperature in the teens and 20s early in the day. The cold shot, although not as good as a big natural snowstorm, is a welcome sight for many of the ski resorts that are either already open or about to open for the season. Check out the flurry of Tweets that came out early Thursday in response to the gun show on the slopes.
