The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for interior Southern New England, and a Winter Weather Advisory for most of coastal Southern New England in advance of a storm that will bring a period of moderate to heavy snow before changing to a wintry mix and rain Monday night into Tuesday. The best chance of at least 6″ of snow is inland in the higher terrain. The change to rain should occur before any significant accumulation in coastal SE MA.
