The warmest Southern New England weather since mid to late October is in the forecast for Tuesday. It’s unclear if it will stick around on Wednesday as a notorious spring stationary front hovers over New England. It is quite likely that the front will move south on Thursday, dropping the high temperature into the 50s. Rain is ahead for Friday, but we are heading for a nice weekend.
Looking ahead to next week, it doesn’t appear that anything earth-shattering will happen weather-wise in Southern New England. The pattern should be very typical of mid to late April, featuring some mild days ahead of cold fronts, and a cool day or two behind the departing front. Most of the time it should be dry, with a shot at rain every 3-4 days.
