Tropical Depression Four forms in E. Atlantic

The tropical wave that the National Hurricane Center has been closely monitoring this week has strengthened into the fourth tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. It may become Tropical Storm Dorian on Wednesday. The storm is not forecast to rapidly intensify because it will be encountering drier air and cooler ocean waters as it moves west at about 20 mph.
