It will become mostly cloudy Wednesday night. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s. The northeast breeze will relax to 5-10 mph. Clouds will thicken on Thursday, and rain is possible by midday near the coast. The afternoon will be cloudy with a good chance of showers by late in the day in CT and RI. There is a lower chance of rain in extreme SE MA. Highs will only be in the upper 50s to low 60s with a 10-20 mph northeast breeze.

Rain creeps north on Thursday. Showers are likely in, at least, coastal Southern New England

Rain is likely Thursday night into Friday. The temperature will stay in the mid 50s overnight, and it will only rise to near 60 on Friday. The best chance of showers on Friday is in CT/RI, with a lower chance of rain in SE MA. Once again, it will be breezy, with some 20 mph northeasterly gusts. The storm will drift south Friday night, and the Columbus Day weekend looks mainly dry. Saturday should be partly cloudy and breezy. The high temperature will be in the 60s – low 60s with limited sunshine, mid to upper 60s if the sun can break through for a few hours around midday. There will be a 10-15 mph easterly breeze.

Sunday and Monday both look partly to mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the low 60s. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s. The weather should stay dry through the middle of next week. Highs will creep into the mid to upper 60s Tuesday and Wednesday under mainly clear skies.
