Residents in the Eastern United States will have a chance to witness a part of the annular-total solar eclipse on Sunday morning November 3, 2013. The eclipse will be underway at sunrise (6:20 am), and ends at 7:12 am. In Southeastern New England about 54% of the of the sun’s diameter will be covered by the moon’s silhouette. The sky is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in Southern New England. A reminder to not view the eclipse directly with the naked eye or even through sunglasses.
