This is not your run of the mill chilly late-November weather that is heading for Southern New England on Sunday. It may be record breaking cold in RI, MA, and CT. The record low temperatures will not be challenged because the cold weather will be accompanied by a gusty wind which actually limits the temperature fall at night. During the day, however, there is the potential to set the record for lowest maximum temperature. The record cold high temperatures are in jeopardy in Providence, Boston, Hartford, and Worcester where the temperature will have a hard time getting out of the mid to upper 20s.
