A rapidly intensifying storm delivered heavy snow to Southeastern New England on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The snow began around midday and continued through the evening. The heaviest snow was in coastal Southeastern Massachusetts where more than 10″ fell. The coast of RI also picked up more than half a foot of snow. The wind howled to more than 45 mph after midnight as the storm center passed Nantucket. Below are snow totals and wind gusts reported by spotters to the National Weather Service.
