The hype machine is steadily purring about the storm potential for the middle of next week. There will be unseasonably cold air over the Northeast. A storm will for off the Southeast United States coast. The only question is will the trough in the jet stream sharpen quickly enough to draw the storm close to Southern New England while it rapidly intensifies.
