Delightful Weather on Friday

Showers moved out of Southern New England by midday Thursday, and the afternoon was fine with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The dew point stayed in the low to mid 60s after the rain ended, but it will be falling into the 50s Thursday night as a northwest breeze ushers in drier weather.

Friday will be gorgeous in New England

Friday will be a very nice day. After a morning low in the mid to upper 50s, the temperature will rise into the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. There will be a 10 mph northwest breeze. It will be clear and cool Friday night. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s.

The weekend looks pleasant, but not particularly warm for the start of summer. Summer begins at 6:51 AM EDT on Saturday. It will be a mostly sunny day with highs in the low to mid 70s. There will be an afternoon sea breeze. Saturday night will also be cool, with lows in the low to mid 50s. Sunday will be similar to Saturday, and possibly a few degrees warmer. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s inland, and low to mid 70s near the coast.

The fine weather will continue into early next week. Highs on Monday will be near 80 inland, and in the 70s near the coast. There will be partly sunny skies. A developing south-southwest breeze will get the temperature to 80 inland on Tuesday, and it will stay in the 70s near the coast. Dry weather should last through Tuesday. Scattered showers are possible on Wednesday as a cold front approaches.
