Dry and pleasant weather will move into Southern New England on Sunday. The temperature will dip into the mid to upper 50s by dawn under mainly clear skies. It will be partly to mostly sunny during the day, with highs in the mid 70s to near 80. A 10-20 mph northwest breeze will keep the dew point in the 50s – rather comfortable for the middle of June.
Monday also looks like a nice day. Lows will be near 60, and highs will be in the low 80s inland, and 70s near the coast as the wind turns onshore during the day. There should be plenty of sunshine. An approaching warm front could kick off showers and thunderstorms Monday night or Tuesday as muggier weather tries to move into New England.
Tuesday will be partly sunny with possible showers/storms early in the day, and highs in the low to mid 80s inland and upper 70s near the coast. The dew point will creep up into the 60s on Tuesday. it will not be oppressively humid, but you will notice some mugginess.
Another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible Wednesday. Right now, it looks like the main threat is in the morning, and there should be some clearing in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s inland, and 70s near the coast.
It will turn less humid late in the workweek. Thursday and Friday should be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, and lows in the 50s.
