Terrific Weather Continues on Sunday

The second half of the weekend will be nearly as nice as the first half in Southern New England. It will be sunny in the morning with temperatures quickly climbing through the 60s into the 70s by mid to late morning. Scattered clouds will develop in the afternoon, and there is a slight chance of a shower, primarily in Southeastern Massachusetts along the wind shift line as the sea breeze pushes inland. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s inland, and 70s near the coast.

More clouds are likely early in the week, but Monday looks like a mainly dry day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s with a southerly breeze. There is a better chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday as a disturbance moves from the Ohio Valley to Southern New England. Highs will be in the mid 70s again.

The forecast is tricky for the mid to late workweek. Right now, it looks dry and seasonable Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the mid 70s, and lows will be in the mid to upper 50s. An approaching cold front will bring the chance of showers Friday into Saturday.
