Tuesday was as warm and humid as Monday, but slight more stable weather meant that thunderstorms did not develop in the afternoon like they did on Monday. There is a chance of a passing showers or thunderstorm Tuesday night as it stays mild and very muggy. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s, and patchy fog is possible near the coast.
Wednesday may be somewhat unsettled, with a shower and thunderstorm threat continuing during the day. Clouds may prevail for a while at the coast, and, overall there could be less sunshine in the afternoon than we saw on Tuesday. It will be breezy and humid. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s inland, and near 80 at the coast. Showers and storms will be isolated to scattered in the morning and afternoon.
The possibility of passing showers/storms continues through Wednesday night as a cold front slowly pushes through New England. Lows will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. Thursday looks partly cloudy with an outside chance of a few showers in Eastern Massachusetts as the front moves offshore. It will not be as humid, and highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Fine weather is in the forecast for Friday into the weekend. The only potential fly in the ointment for Friday is a disturbance over the Mid-Atlantic that may drift far enough north for showers over Southeastern New England. Right now, it looks like it will stay offshore, but it is worth watching. Provided it stays south, Friday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Saturday and Sunday will be nice. Saturday looks sunny, warm, and dry, with lows in the 60s, and highs in the low 80s. It will be a bit warmer on Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms may arrive Monday and/or Tuesday.
