High pressure from eastern Canada will move over New England this weekend. Saturday looks mostly cloudy in the morning, then partly sunny with the slight chance of a shower. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s with a northeast breeze. Lows will be near 60 Saturday and Sunday morning. Sunday should feature more sunshine, with highs in the mid 70s.
The weather looks great early next week. It will gradually get warmer with mainly clear skies. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s on Monday under mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the 50s to low 60s.
Tuesday and Wednesday are also looking good. It will be partly cloudy to mainly clear, with highs in the low to mid 80s inland on Tuesday, and mid to upper 70s near the coast. Wednesday may approach 90° inland, with low 80s near the coast. Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Thursday as a cold front brings an end to the quick warm-up.
A disturbance in the Caribbean has an 80-90% chance of becoming a tropical storm in the next two to five days. The system is moving east-northeast in the general direction of the Southeastern United States. There is a reasonable chance that it will have an impact as a tropical storm or hurricane somewhere between Florida and the Carolinas in the middle of next week.
