Stray showers are possible Sunday night as a cold front moves through New England. It will be a muggy and mild night, with lows in the low to mid 60s.
The cold front will move offshore Monday morning. A large area of high pressure will dominate the weather pattern in the Northeast next week. Fair weather is likely throughout the workweek and into the weekend. Monday will be partly cloudy, breezy, and mild. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s inland, and low 70s near the coast.
It will be seasonably cool in the midweek. Tuesday through Thursday look mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. It will be mainly clear at night with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. Showers will creep up the Eastern Seaboard in the mid to late week, but, right now, it looks like the action will stay south of Southern New England. It will get a bit milder Friday into next weekend with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the 50s.
