The temperature will jump back into the 50s on Wednesday ahead of another cold front which will send it back into the 40s for the end of the workweek. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy breezy, and relatively mild for early December. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. A few passing rain showers are possible, especially in the afternoon, but it will not be a washout. There may be some mist and fog near the coast in the morning.
Skies will clear Wednesday night as the temperature falls into the low 30s by dawn on Thursday. It will be partly to mostly sunny and seasonably cool on Thursday. You can expect highs in the in the low 40s with a northwest breeze at 10-15 mph. Thursday night looks partly cloudy to mainly clear and cold, with lows in the mid to upper 20s.
The workweek will end with dry weather on Friday. Look for a blend of clouds and sun, with highs near 40. A slowly evolving storm system will be bothersome this weekend into early next week. Right now, it does not look like a washout this weekend, but showers are possible. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with occasional showers, primarily in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 40s. It may be drier on Sunday, but there should be a lot of clouds and showers cannot be ruled out. Highs will be in the low 40s.
There is a better chance of rain Sunday night into Monday as the storm gets organized and heads north toward Southern New England. We expect occasional rain with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s on Monday into Monday night.
