An approaching storm system will bring snow to Southern New England Sunday night. It looks like a few inches will accumulate between around 8 pm on Sunday and 6 am on Monday. The temperature will be in the upper 20s to low 30s Sunday night. It will likely be a wet snow instead of the dry and fluffy snow that fell most of the time in February.
Monday afternoon looks partly cloudy and brisk, with highs in the 30s. It will be dry and cold for early March on Tuesday. Highs will only be in the upper 20s to low 30s. Another storm arrives Tuesday night into Wednesday. It may start as snow and mixed precipitation, but there is a decent chance that it changes to rain from south to north by early Wednesday. Rain may linger through the day on Wednesday, with the temperature possible reaching the low 40s in Providence for the first time since mid-January.
