A relatively dry April will continue through the middle of the workweek. Tuesday will start with clouds, and there could be a few showers – especially in Eastern Massachusetts. The trend during the day will be for skies to become partly cloudy. A gusty northerly breeze will develop courtesy of an offshore storm. The wind will be 15-30 mph during the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.
It will be clear and cool Tuesday night. Lows will be in the low 40s with a diminishing wind. Wednesday looks like a nice day. You can expect lots of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 60s. It will stay dry and mainly clear to partly cloudy on Thursday. The wind will shift to the northeast. Highs will be between 55-60.
A strong storm off the Mid-Atlantic coast will cause an increasing northeast wind Thursday night through Friday. The storm may come close enough to bring thick clouds and the chance of a few showers or some patchy mist and drizzle. Friday looks unseasonably cool, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
The weekend is looking good. Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs near 60. Sunday should feature lots of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. The temperature may reach the 70s, especially away from the coast, early next week.
