Another Beauty on Friday

Thursday was an absolutely gorgeous day in Southern New England. Skies were cloud-free, and the temperature reached the low 80s inland with low humidity. It reached the mid 70s near the coast before an afternoon sea breeze rolled in. It will be clear and comfortable Thursday night. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

We are keeping an eye on the storm off the Southeast US coast. It should be a non-factor through the weekend.

Friday will be another beauty. Highs will be near 80 inland, and in the 70s near the coast. The temperature may fall back into the 60s near the coast by late in the day as the sea breeze picks up. Skies will be mostly sunny.

The wind will shift to the south-southeast Friday night, and some low clouds and fog are possible by early Saturday. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s. Clouds will burn off to partly to mostly sunny skies Saturday afternoon. The slightly cooler wind direction will keep the temperature near 70 inland, and in the 60s at the coast.

Mother’s Day looks nice, especially in the afternoon. There may be some morning clouds and fog. Skies will become mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s inland, and near 70 at the coast.

It will get muggy early next week. Monday will become partly sunny with highs near 80 inland, and in the low 70s near the coast as a southwest breeze develops. Lows will be near 60. There may be a few showers around on Tuesday, especially in the afternoon. We’ll keep an eye on a disturbance off the Carolina coast that may get drawn north and enhance the shower potential. Lows will be near 60, and highs will be in the 70s. The weather looks dry and warm on Wednesday.
