Scattered Showers Saturday; Warm Sunday

A disturbance moving through Southern New England on Saturday may trigger a few showers. Clouds will be stubborn, and highs will be in the mid to upper 60s inland, and low to mid 60s near the coast. While the showers will not be widespread, a thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. The best chance of seeing a shower is in the morning.

There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Northeast on Saturday

Another disturbance will pass by Saturday night. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. Lows will be in the mid 50s. Skies will become partly sunny on Sunday. It will warm through the 70s into the low 80s inland. Highs near the coast will be closer to 70 with an afternoon sea breeze.

The wind will shift to the northeast Sunday night. Monday looks like a pleasant day, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s in Rhode Island, and mid to upper 60s in Southeastern Massachusetts. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny. An approaching cold front will trigger scattered showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, during the day on Tuesday. The steadiest rain from that system will most likely stay in Northern New England. Highs will be in the 60s on Tuesday.

Nice weather is ahead for the middle and end of next workweek. Wednesday will become mostly sunny and breezy. Highs will be near 70. There will be less wind on Thursday and Friday. Both days look fair and dry. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
