Seasonably cool weather continues on Wednesday before a wind shift brings milder conditions on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. It will cool again over the weekend.
WEDNESDAY
It will be a cold start to the day under clear skies. Lows will be in the 20s. Look for partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 40s in the afternoon. Wednesday evening does not looks too cold, with temperatures falling to near 40 by midnight and then holding steady into Thursday morning.
THANKSGIVING
Clouds could be stubborn on Thursday, but it will be relatively mild and stay dry. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s in spite of the cloud cover. If we manage a few hours of midday sun, the temperature will reach the mid to upper 50s. It will be cloudy and damp Thursday night. Lows will be in the 40s with patchy fog. It looks pretty good for late-night Black Friday shoppers.
FRIDAY
Morning low clouds and fog may break up to partly sunny skies for a few hours around midday. It will be breezy and unseasonably mild. Highs will be near 60. Friday night looks damp and mild. A few showers are possible late at night, with lows in the upper 40s.
SATURDAY
Scattered rain showers will move through in the morning. The afternoon looks partly cloudy, brisk, and cooler, with temperatures in the low 40s. It will fall into the 20s Saturday night with clear skies.
SUNDAY
Expect a blend of clouds and sun, with highs in the low to mid 40s – not far from normal for late-November. Overall, not a bad day.
EARLY NEXT WEEK
Some rain is possible Monday and/or Tuesday as a storm system moves out of the Southeastern United States. Right now, it does not look like a significant event.
