After a couple of dreary days to start December, the weather will turn dry and gradually milder heading into and through the weekend. No precipitation is expected from Thursday into, at least, the middle of next week.
THURSDAY
Rain will end by dawn, and there will be some clearing by mid to late morning. It will be partly cloudy and blustery in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s with a 15-30 mph northwest wind. Thursday night will be mainly clear with lows in the low to mid 30s.
FRIDAY
You can expect partly cloudy skies with a northwest breeze. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s – just about normal for early December.
SATURDAY
We’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild conditions this weekend. Highs will be near 50 on Saturday after starting the day in the upper 20s to low 30s. There will not be much of a breeze. Saturday night looks clear and seasonably cold, with lows in the low 30s.
SUNDAY
It looks like a gorgeous day with highs in the low 50s under mostly sunny skies. The temperature will dip into the 30s Sunday night.
MONDAY
The nice weather continues on Monday. It will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s.
MIDWEEK
Dry weather lasts into Tuesday. We’ll be watching the evolution of a storm system over the Southeastern United States through the midweek. Rain is possible Wednesday and/or Thursday if the storm moves far enough north before heading into the Atlantic Ocean. This part of the forecast is uncertain, and we will keep you updated.
