Cloudy Saturday; Rain Likely Sunday

Clouds will thicken on Friday with patchy mist possible. It will stay damp on Saturday, but there will not be steady rain. However, rain will be heavy at times on Sunday. Looking ahead to next week, you can expect mainly dry and seasonably cold weather.

FRIDAY
Cloudy, somewhat damp. Patchy mist and fog possible. Highs in the low 40s. Northeast wind 5-15 mph. It will stay damp with some mist, drizzle and fog at night. Lows will be in the mid to upper 30s, so black ice is not a concern.

SATURDAY
More thick clouds and damp conditions. Patchy mist and drizzle. Temperatures climb from the upper 30s to low 40s. A light wind through the day will increase late Saturday night. Steady rain is not likely until around dawn on Sunday.

Heavy rain arrives Sunday morning

SUNDAY
Rain, heavy at times, ending during the afternoon. Rain totals near an inch are expected. Windy near the coast, with gusts over 30 mph possible in the morning. Near-record high temperatures in the low to mid 50s. It will become partly cloudy late Sunday night. Look for lows near freezing.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY
Look for a blend of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 30s on Monday, and closer to 40 on Tuesday. Lows will be in the 20s.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
A surge of seasonably cold weather will arrive in the midweek. Highs will be in the 30s both days. Lows will be in the low 20s with a northwest breeze at night. Snow showers are possible either day, but a big storm is unlikely.
