April has turned around in a hurry, with plenty of sunshine ruling the skies, and much more seasonable conditions than earlier in the month. An offshore storm will keep the weather seasonably cool into the weekend, with a warm-up likely Sunday and Monday. Highs will finally get above normal Sunday and/or Monday as the wind shifts from northeast to west, southwest.
A front drops through New England Monday night into Tuesday. A storm will develop along the front, but it looks like it will be far enough away that the only precipitation comes with rain showers as the front passes. There will be a brief cool shot in the middle of next week before the next warm-up begins and lasts into next weekend.
The overall trend is for mainly dry weather in the next couple of weeks. Pollen counts will be high, and there will be some cool nights with clear skies. The temperature will average near to above normal, with a generally quiet and pleasant second half of April.
