November 24th Update

Happy Thanksgiving! Clouds will yield some rain showers Thursday afternoon as a weak disturbance moves through the Northeast. Showers are likely Thursday night, but there will not be heavy rain. Temperatures will be in the 40s Thursday afternoon and night.

More showers are likely on Friday. Once again, we are not expecting heavy rain. Highs will be near 50. The shower threat diminishes on Saturday, especially in the afternoon. Expect highs near 50 again.

Quiet weather is likely Sunday and Monday. It will be seasonable with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Clouds increase on Tuesday, and rain is possible late in the day. There will be rain in the middle of the week, possibly lingering into Thursday. A decent soaking of a half-inch or more may happen between Tuesday night and Wednesday night. It will be warmer when the rain arrives, with temperatures in the 50s.

Cool and dry weather returns late next workweek into next weekend.
