Sunday to next Saturday looks much colder than normal in the Northeast - probably 5-8° below normal. Brrr!
Get set for a cool plunge on Thursday. The temperature dives into the 30s tonight, and it will feel like the 20s with a gusty wind. Highs in the 40s, but feeling like 30s because of the breeze on Thursday afternoon. The temperature moderates a bit on Friday – expect highs in the mid-upper 50s after a cold start in the low to mid 30s.
Saturday may start with a few showers early in the day. Most of the day looks dry with highs in the low 60s. Another cold shot arrives Sunday into early next week. I’m still watching the potential for stormy weather late next week. It may stay off the East Coast, but it’s something to monitor closely.
