It will be a cold stretch from Thursday through Saturday. Dry weather is ahead for Thursday and Friday before the storm I’ve been alluding to for a while arrives on Saturday. The exact timing is still questionable, but, right now, it looks like Saturday will be wet and windy. Highs in the 40s are likely Thursday through Saturday, and lows will be near or below freezing Friday morning.
There is a chance that the storm starts with a brief period of sleet/snow in the higher terrain away from the coast. I do not expect it to last long enough for a travel impact before it changes to cold rain. It’s still early in the week, and the exact timing/track of the storm will likely change a bit before the weekend. At this point, Saturday looks like the wetter weekend day, but showers are possible as the primary storm lingers and another could follow on its heels Sunday and Monday.
