November 6 – Facebook Live 7 pm

1-3" above normal rain likely in the next 10 days (including what fell on Election day)

The wet start to November continues with a soggy Election Day. Thankfully, the showers will move out by around midnight, and dry weather returns for Wednesday. Look for some sun, a gusty breeze, and temps in the upper 50s to low 60s. Overall, a nice day, and the pick of the week!

It stays dry through Thursday and Friday morning. Expect highs in the low to mid 50s with some clouds on Thursday. Showers move from west to east across New England starting at midday on Friday. It will rain in Connecticut before sunset, and the rain reaches Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts around sunset. The best chance of heavy downpours on Friday is in the evening through midnight. Another inch or more of rain is possible.

Saturday looks blustery and cooler with highs in the 40s to low 50s at best. It will feel colder because of 20-30 mph gusts. Sunday will be dry and cool, with highs in the 40s.

The overall pattern looks cold in mid-November, but a storm in the middle of next week could track over or west of New England, and that would bring in slightly milder temps and plenty of rain. It will likely be followed by a significant chill with highs not too far from 40 and lows in the 20s. Right now, it looks dry late next week.
