It’s a sleepy weather pattern for the rest of this week, and possibly through the middle of next week. Expect it to be colder than normal for a while, with temperatures struggling to reach 40 most days through the weekend into early next week. There is a low risk of a storm coming close enough for rain/snow/wind on Tuesday, but I would not count on it at this point. There’s a better chance that it stays dry and cool through the middle of next week. The long-range outlook shows a rain storm coming in late next week, and milder weather arriving around December 15. 

At this point, there’s a low chance of any significant snow in Southern New England through the next two weekends. We’ll have to watch how things develop next week and if the projected rain storm takes a track farther east and taps into colder air. There’s a good chance we’ll be within a few days of Christmas with no snow on the ground. In the next few days I will start to get an idea about what the weather pattern may look like around Christmas, and I’ll be sure to let you know!
