It stays dry for most of the day on Saturday. Precipitation arrives Saturday evening and continues into Sunday morning. It will likely be mainly or rain in all of Southern New England. Showers and damp weather linger on Sunday with temps in the 50s. The best chance of rain is before noon. Monday looks mild and dry before a chill arrives in the midweek.
I’m watching the potential for stormy weather in the middle and end of next week. It’s a ways down the road, but there is enough cold air around that if any storm comes close enough to the coast, there would likely be a wintry element for at least part of it. This is more of a heads-up than anything else to the possibility of wintry weather next week. It’s way too early to talk about specifics, and it’s possible that the storms will stay away. I’ll continue to keep you updated on any changes over the next few days.
