The steadiest rain is likely Sunday morning, but it may stay damp for a while during the afternoon. It will be milder on Sunday near the coast with the temperature reaching the 50s at the coast and staying in the 30s to mid 40s inland. Monday looks relatively warm and dry. Expect temps in the 50s with some sun.
It turns colder in the midweek, with highs struggling to reach 40 Tuesday through Thursday. A midweek storm will likely stay out to sea south of New England. It looks dry and cold through the end of the workweek.
There is a decent setup for a storm near the Eastern Seaboard next weekend. I have been watching this one for a while, and it still looks like a possibility. If you have plans next weekend, keep an eye on the forecast!
The overall pattern is relatively cold through mid-December. After a couple of relatively warm days Sunday and Monday, it turns chilly by the middle of next week and stays that way through at least December 10.
Cold in the Eastern US December 8-12
