April 2013: Dry, near normal temperature

April 2013 was a very cool month for the United States as a whole, but it was just about normal in Southern New England. The temperature bounced around with 18 below normal days, 11 above normal days, and only one day where the average temperature was exactly normal. On average, however, the temperature was just 0.1° F below normal at TF Green Airport. It was similarly normal at the other climate reporting stations in Southern New England. It was much drier than normal, with only 39% of the normal amount of rain at TF Green.
