Record high minimum temperatures likely Thursday

While the record high maximum daily temperatures have not been threatened so far this week, it appears that three of the major climate stations in Southern New England will be setting records for the record high minimum temperature on Thursday, July 18. The wind shifted to the west in Southern New England near midnight, and the temperature held steady or rose in most places for the remainder of the night.

More record high minimum temperatures are possible in the next couple of days. Record high maximum temperatures for this week can be found here.

Below are the current preliminary low temperatures along with the record high minimum temperatures at the four major climate stations in Southern New England.
