High Wind Watch Saturday into Sunday

The National Weather Service forecast office in Taunton, MA has issued a High Wind Watch for Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts in advance of a developing offshore storm this weekend. The storm is expected to bring 20-30 mph sustained winds, with the potential for peak gusts to near 60 mph. Winds that strong can cause downed trees, branches and power lines.
