Foliage nearing peak in Southern New England

The colors of fall are really starting to explode in Southern New England. Most areas are seeing near peak fall foliage, and the peak should occur in the next 7-10 days. There is still some decent color showing in the lower elevations of Northern New England, too. Overall, it looks like a pretty nice week to grab the camera for a ride to check out some of the colors before they’re gone.

These pictures were taken with a camera phone on Monday morning at the pond off Griswold Ave in Bristol, RI.
